Welcome back!
For our final case study this month, Tonja and I go over a case with a couple of trays that incorporated Sandtray, craft therapy, and EMDR.
As you'll see, the differences in the trays shown help us visually see the impact of merged therapy methods and the healing taking place for the client.
I really love these 2 reminders Tonja shares after reviewing the case:
1.) Trauma is something that can be passed down to us and even though it sucks, it does become our job to acknowledge it, learn how to process it, and also heal + move forward from it.
2.) And it's OK to fail!! She shared three super great and successful cases, but it's not always like that. Allow yourself to fail, to not have it all figured out, and to hold space for patience.
We are therapists and we are far from perfect...and that is OK! We're human beings and we do the very best for our clients. That is enough.
You are enough!
Love,
Amy
